The MERCUSYS AC12 V1 is an AC1200 dual-band wireless router designed to provide Wi-Fi connectivity for home and office networks. Supporting the IEEE 802.11ac standard, it delivers theoretical wireless link speeds of up to 867 Mbps on 5 GHz and 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, allowing compatible devices to connect across both frequency bands.

Equipped with four external 5 dBi antennas, the AC12 supports wireless coverage across everyday living and working spaces. It also includes four Fast Ethernet LAN ports, one Fast Ethernet WAN port, guest networking, parental controls and browser-based setup for convenient network installation and management.

Key Features

• AC1200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi: Supports up to 867 Mbps on 5 GHz and 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, allowing simultaneous wireless connections across both bands.

Technical Specifications

Compatibility & Important Information

• Fast Ethernet Limitation: The WAN and LAN ports support a maximum negotiated link speed of 100 Mbps. The AC1200 Wi-Fi rating does not mean the router has Gigabit Ethernet ports.
• Wi-Fi Compatibility: Supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless devices using compatible IEEE 802.11 standards. It is a Wi-Fi 5 router, not a Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 7 model.
• Guest Network: The manufacturer’s specifications list guest networking on the 2.4 GHz band.
• Internet Connection: Supports Dynamic IP, Static IP and PPPoE WAN connection types. Internet service and an appropriate upstream connection are required.
• Wireless Performance: The listed 867 Mbps and 300 Mbps figures are theoretical wireless link rates. Actual throughput and coverage depend on connected devices, interference, building materials and network conditions.
