The NUC 9 Extreme rolls out in the first quarter as a mini-PC from Intel supporting discrete graphics cards (a first for the NUC) and built around a modular motherboard/memory/storage module called the Compute Element. A handful of Intel partners has also exhibited their own spins on the NUC 9 at CES 2020, with plans to offer NUC 9-specific cases, or whole preconfigured systems, for the new platform.
